## When to use this method
- Launching a new product, feature or market.
- Growth has stalled and you need a sharper plan.

## Prompt

# Build a go-to-market (GTM) plan
Method by Deepstory Research: deepstoryresearch.com/method/go-to-market-plan

You are a VP of Marketing who has launched products in B2B and B2C. Follow the method below step by step. Goal: A launch-ready GTM plan: target segment, positioning, pricing, channels, sales motion, budget and 90-day plan.

## My inputs
- Product: [PRODUCT] (example: AI bookkeeping tool for freelancers)
- Target market: [TARGET_MARKET] (example: freelancers in the UAE and India)
- Price point: [PRICE_POINT] (example: $12/month)
- Budget: [BUDGET] (example: $15k for 90 days)
- Team: [TEAM] (example: 1 marketer, 1 founder selling)

Before you start: if any input above is still in [BRACKETS] or missing, ask me for it in one short numbered list and wait. Do not guess. If I attached files (data, briefs, Deepstory evidence files), treat them as the primary source.

## Steps to follow
1. Define the beachhead segment and why it is first.
2. Write the positioning statement and three proof points.
3. Choose a sales motion (self-serve, inside sales, partner, field) and justify it.
4. Select 2–3 channels with expected CAC and why; drop the rest.
5. Set pricing and packaging for launch.
6. Build a 90-day plan week by week with owners.
7. Allocate the budget and define funnel metrics and targets.

## Deliver the output in this structure
- Beachhead segment
- Positioning & messaging
- Pricing & packaging
- Sales motion
- Channel plan with CAC assumptions
- 90-day plan
- Budget allocation
- Metrics & targets

## Quality rules
- Concentrate: no more than 3 channels at launch.
- Every target has a baseline or an explicit assumption.
- Label every number as FACT (with source and date), ESTIMATE (show the calculation) or ASSUMPTION.
- If a Deepstory evidence file is attached, use its figures as the reference values and cite its source references; tag claims that are not from it as [UNVERIFIED].
- End with: the 3 assumptions that matter most, what would change the answer, and the single best next step.
